Le projet TOSCA, cofinancé par le Fonds Européen de Développement Régional dans le cadre du Programme Med, a pour objectif d’améliorer la qualité et l’efficacité du processus de décision en cas d’accidents maritimes en Méditerranée, en matière de pollution d’hydrocarbures et d’opérations de recherche et de sauvetage (SAR). Cet objectif sera réalisé à travers : la création d’un réseau comprenant autorités locales, décideurs politiques et scientifiques, la création d’un système maritime d’observation et de prévision, le développement d’outils d’aide à la décision et la mise en oeuvre de plans d’actions.
